Michael van Gerwen and Gian van Veen are among the star names who will compete at the 2026 Elten Safety Shoes European Darts Trophy, beginning on Friday.
The tournament, held in Goettingen, Germany, will also welcome star names including Gerwyn Price, Stephen Bunting and Josh Rock.
But Luke Littler, 19, who for the second consecutive year, will be absent along with Nathan Aspinall, Gary Anderson and James Wade.
'The Nuke' has previously received a hostile reception from crowds in Germany, and , held in Sindelfingen.
In the weeks before, the world champion was booed on a Premier League night in Berlin and then booed again at the German Darts Grand Prix, in Munich.
Taking to X after the latter tournament, he said: "Shouldn't have been in Munich but had to play anyway. Next one in Germany for me is Dortmund and I am glad to say that."
Luke Humphries and Jonny Clayton both pulled out of the event late on Thursday night, and subsequently replaced by Karel Sedlacek and Cam Crabtree.
The PDC were notified of Humphries' withdrawal after the draw had taken place, although he had previously indicated to his management that he would not be competing.
Clayton withdrew due to an ankle problem following Thursday's win in the Premier League in Nottingham.
The winner of the European Darts Trophy, who will compete in a final scheduled for Sunday, will scoop a £35,000 prize.
