WSL round-up: Bunny Shaw scores fastest WSL hat-trick as Man City smash Spurs, Chelsea draw with London City, wins for Arsenal and Man Utd

Khadija 'Bunny' Shaw made WSL history as she netted the fastest hat-trick in competition history as league leaders Manchester City cruised to victory over Tottenham.

Timed at 12 minutes and 37 seconds from her first goal to her third, Shaw broke the record to set her team on their way to a comfortable victory to extend their lead at the top of the table.

Defensive calamaties summed up Spurs' first-half performance with Kerolin and an own-goal from Amanda Nilden proving costly for Martin Ho's side.

Olivia Holdt had momentarily pulled Spurs level after Shaw's first goal, but despite a much improved second half showing, Beth England's late strike was nothing but a consolation.

The result means that City go eight points clear at the top of the WSL table as they draw every closer to the title.

Melvine Malard was the hero for Manchester United as she scored a stoppage time winner to move Marc Skinner's side up to second in the WSL table.

Off the back of the League Cup final defeat to Chelsea and a disappointing draw in midweek to West Ham, United needed Malard to secure three points against the Toffees in the 94th minute after nearly throwing victory away in an otherwise dominant display.

Elisabeth Terland had given United the lead on the stroke of half-time with her first goal in four games, but Everton thought they had snatched a point when Inma Gabarro headed passed Phallon Tullis-Joyce in the 90th minute.

But Malard beat Courtney Brosnan at the near post to grab all three points and move the Red Devils above Chelsea into second.

Chloe Kelly scored twice and grabbed an assist to help Arsenal hammer West Ham 5-0 at the Emirates Stadium.

Kelly set up Stina Blackstenius for a fourth-minute opener as West Ham goalkeeper Kinga Szemik made several saves to keep it to 1-0 at half-time.

But just two minutes after the restart, Alessia Russo headed home to double the lead.

Kelly struck a fine 55th-minute third with a 20-yard effort which arrowed into the far corner for her first WSL goal since October.

A poor mistake from West Ham defender Tuva Hansen allowed Kelly to grab her second in the 80th minute.

Substitute Beth Mead then added a fifth in the 90th minute to maintain their WSL home unbeaten record this season.

Arsenal stay fourth but are just two points behind third-placed Chelsea, with two games in hand over the Blues, while the Hammers remain 11th and three points above the drop.

London City Lionesses earned a deserved point against reigning WSL champions Chelsea after a 1-1 draw at the New Den.

Johanna Rytting Kaneryd's first-half one-on-one finish looked like it would extend Chelsea's winning run to six games and continue their momentum from last weekend's League Cup final victory.

But the home side fought back superbly in the second half and were finally rewarded when substitute Isobel Goodwin headed in an 82nd-minute equaliser.

There was concern for Chelsea and England in the second half when striker Aggie Beever-Jones looked in distress as she was taken off with an ankle injury.

Sonia Bompastor's side dropped to third after Man Utd's win, while London City remain seventh and ended a four-game losing run in all competitions.
